Tuning
Why is it that for these little motors such as a trx 2.5r, you always have to tune after every run? In normal motors you dont have to touch them at all?
If you use a quality fuel & if nothing is wrong with your motor you should'nt have to retune after every run.
Thanks, buy you HAVE to tune if the weather temps change right?
Only a little usually you only mess with the end needel.
Ok, thanks.
bigger the engine, the easier to tune, smaller, the harder. Thats why teh nitro m18 is abadd idea! no1 will wanna tune it.
Thanks for the info guys.
got temp gauge right?
I thought the tune ablity was more on the motor design not the size. I have heard that the thunder tiger with th .70 in it is hard to tune as well.
well, on average, the big block motors are easier. I was messing with my freind's savage, adn his engine was SOOO easy to tune... compared to my 2.5
i dont know what ya'll are doing but a acncm head makes it the easiest thing in the world to tune. not to mention you can lean it way out and it will still only run 230. it helps the runtimes to. i get about 45 secongs to a mintue more time per tank than most. alot when your racing.

How much is that acncm head cost?
i paid 40 shipped on ebay. they gurrentee a 50 degree drop.

Why is that, is it just because it is bigger in size? Or different material used, or somthing else?
