New bigger Feigao motor?
I was looking at feigao's site and I saw this:
http://www.feigao.com/sdp/85838/4/cp-102737.html The motor on the far left looks like it would fit in an e-maxx since it has the same bolt pattern as the 540. |
Hmm.. that looks like it is in similiar size to an 820 size powertool motor. I don't think you could fit that on the E-Maxx tranny without a larger motor plate, because the motor may hit the actual transmission.
edit: Looks like it's 580 sized?? This is what it says: 580 Ferrous Loss-free BL motor FG-MBLF-580 Ö45X50 45mm x 50mm compared to 36mm x 60mm (Feigao 540 "L" motor) Interesting... Can anyone else find any more info? I'm not having any luck. :C: |
It looks like a cheap metall can, no aluminum. It has got a 5mm shaft, and a 25mm mountinghole distance. and a build in fan.
The bigger diameter will increase the torque for sure! (if a bigger rotor is used) |
thats crazy big. seems like overkill. HOw mcuh will ti cost?
Where did you get that info Serum? A built in Fan, eh? Sounds pretty cool..
by looking at it.. ;)
How can you tell there's a fan, because there are those slots in the can? The metal could be a good material, just not polished an anodized..
maybe its like a XXL. Hope it turns out to be really good! at a good price
That sure is one LARGE motor! Might be a good candidate for a 1/5 vehicle
I'd go with dual 3080's in a 1/5 vehicle over that any day! (if I had that much money to spend!) Imagine that though, DUAL 3080's...
yeah, very realistic as well...

Johnny, there is such a thing as overkill. That is 6 3080's runing on 20s lipoly in a 1 gram truck, even though that clearly impossible :P So I guess overkill is impossible!
I saw a bl motor on e-bay that was solid black with built in fan?? Sold for $5 bucks???
wonder what kind of motor it was?
