Would this be a good battery to run?
I've heard some decent reviews about these batts, but just to be certain can someone clarify for me? I'll be running this in a CRT X1 with an R1 Pro (extra caps), BEC, with a Feigao 9XL and Mike's mount and heatsink. Will I have any issues? I'll be upgrading to a Neu later on when I have more cash but this 9XL should do fine until then. I'm going to gear it for 40-45mph. Sound good?

Can't beat it for the price. I have ran the Zippy 4s 5000 packs, and they seem to perform excellently.

Great! Anyone else want to give feedback? Vids?
I think I remember someone saying the CRT mount only accepts 14T pinons and up, right? So with a 14/46 setup and no tire ballooning, I would be int he ballpark of 51MPH according to the top speed calculator. Would this be okay? Seems fast but I don't see any other choice :mdr: |
Really seems quick... I make it 41mph...
Which should be ok but watch the temps on that 9XL... I run the 3s from that same series of zippyz and they are fantastic for bashing or practice racing......if your going to race serious and the race is sanctioned then you must use roar approved enerlands....and yes the enerlands have a very noticeable difference over the zippy's hence the bigger expense btw ...my crt 1x has a 62 spur and I use a 14t pinion...here it is with a 9l feigao with the 3s zippy video |

FYI, the Enerland 2S Hard Case packs are not Roar legal. Here is the list of Roar legal 2S hard case Lipos: http://roarracing.com/approvals/lipobattery.php |
