I searched the JR Racing for an answer and could find anything as far as max voltage for the receiver. You already have the servo set of 6v?.

In the comments section for the servo they talk about using a y harnes to connect the servo to the receiver and directly to the battery. Not sure which battery they are talking about.

Most servo can't take much more than 6v if I am not mistaken....I run mine at 6v and they are plenty fast.

I have run servos at 6.5v with no issues. The receiver was fine too. We also direct wired a servo for my buddy's crawler and set the ccbec at 7v. It worked, and then he got "creative" with the wiring and had the 7v going thru the rec too. It did not kill anything, but I would only do 6.5v.
