I ran the car once today and i had a couple nasty flips and hits and i can't find anything wrong. One hit was it going about 25-20mph sideways on dirt and it hit a patch of grass about 2in high and it went fliping pritty violently for i long time down a hill before it finnally came to a rest. The hit riped some of the tire off the rim (glued with too much CA glue to start with).

the only issue i see is future related when the chassis hits and grinds the screws so you can extract them with out some dremel slotting. I would see if you could get them flush with the chassis. Other than that good job. The power of improvising.

yea, i thought about that, but drilling into the chassie is the only way i see to keep then from hitting something. But i've ran it twice sence i put it in and the screws on the bottom still don't have a scratch! and yes, the power of the servo is AMAZING!!!

why not just run a bec? in the long run it's cheaper than replacing the AA batteries every couple hours

becouse i'm not paying for the AA batteries and it didn't cost me a thing to make it:mdr:

Plus the AA batteries really help keep the front on the ground and makes the car turn better
