evx 2 on 1st 2s lipo ?

is it possible to run the traxxas evx 2 esc on just one 6-7cell ni-mh och 2s lipo battery ?i'm going to use this esc in a 1/10 truck !

connect a battery pack to either battery port, find the one that could arm the ESC, short the other one.

I run mine off a 6 cell pack, you need to find the BEC side and then short the other side
