I bought a AX-10 kit from a guy on ebay for $200. It was new. I spent about $500-$600 upgrading it. I like it very very much and it was doing pretty good at the local comps. But I still needed to add "dig" to place higher and become a better competitor.

Now I've got twice that in my new rig.

There are a few more option's out there than there were just a year ago. So be sure to look around and get what you really want.

did you use the FSA kit

I was also thinking about the Kyosho Rock Force or the new losi 1/10 the both come stock with a worm gear
