V3 & MMM Combo
Maybe I missed it, but I'm curious about something. Why do the V3 MMM's have bullets for all connections and the MMM's in the combos only have them on the motor side? I was surprised to open up my MMM Combo yesterday to see wires on the batt side.

I heard that all newer V3 MMM will be built like this , the ones that are not were made before they revised it .

I have seen a combo with the bullets on the battery side. Also my V3 has them also.

My MMM combo that I just received yesterday has the battery inputs soldered too the board , no bullets .

This is a photo that I saw at a website that currently have them forsale.I ordered a combo from Tower so I will see for myself monday. The HPI version does though have the battery leads soldered to the board from what their photo shows.

We are soldering the wires on on the battery side because people where thinking it was a good idea to use the plugs to disconnect the battery, even though we provided battery wires with plugs. Plugs this size on circuit boards are strong enough but cannot take aggressive yanking on the lead to disconnect the plug. Obviously the motor wires won't be disconnected as often as a battery and there is less likely hood they will be yanked on in the heat of competition.
