My Brushless Jato!
I haven't driven mine in ages but this is my brushless jato. I bought the roller off a coworker who already did all the work of removing radio tray, and all the other crap and making the L bracket motor mount. I Used a MM 5700 and a 3c setup when I used to run it. I stopped running because I would glitch no matter where i positioned my electronics and it was just possesed. I will get it up and going again one of these days with my new 4 cell lipo and airtronics 2.4 and I'll have to snag a Mod 1 pinion,(this was before mod 1 electric pinions were being made)I was using a 32pitch emaxx pinion with it, the mesh wasn't perfect but it worked. Here are some old pics. Sorry for bad picture angles lol this was like 2 years ago and i found a HPI body and mounted it for the jato lol

haha a love the first pic.
how hot is that 5700 getting in the jato. |
The motor was in the high 1xx's, the esc was only luke warn thanks to that perfect precut section from HPI lol.
what are you geared for?
It's got pretty clean wiring, and the body appears to fit good.
I didn't clock it, because I could never get good range with the radio lol. But ill drop 2.4 in it and then see whats up.
thanks guys for the comments!
Looks good.
thanks BL-rvo, also as a side note, It has the single speed conversion as well. If I wanted to change anything I think I would try to re-incorporate the mechanical brakes.
That looks good. 2 years ago wasn't a whole lot of them was there? The HPI body looks good on it. Which body is it? I'm still surfing for one.

-I took all the Firestorm stickers off, I should have taken all the stickers off and leave everyone guessing Lol. |
That's sweet. I hope Traxxas comes out with one!

From the looks of that, All I need is the L bracket for the motor... Not too shabby at all!
A Y-harness for the brakes and throttle to be in sync, and the problem of mechanical brakes is solved! Though, I think the brushless motor will have much better braking... |
