mamba version1
 

i have a chance to get a monster mamba version 1 for a good deal ( it is used ) and i was wondering if you just send it in to get a version 3 or is there a charge for this service

You should be able to send it in and they'll send you a new one. Make sure you fill out a Service Request form and under the description of what's wrong tell them you want it swapped for a V3.

Another option is to upgrade the firmware to the latest version and use it until it fails. There are still people running V1s and V2s that haven't failed yet.

I am still using a v1. I upgraded the firware and Castle sent me a new case.
