MMM Qusetion
Hi, i'm just finishing installing my new MMM 2200kv combo into my e-revo. I'm not very good with wiring so. I'm usng two 3s cells, so I need to make a y connector. My understanding is that I take the positve on the esc, put it in the negitive on one connector, take the positive from that connector and connect it to the negitive on the next connector, then connect the positive for the last connector to the negitive on the esc. Is that how it should be? Thanks!

cool this helped me as well. does the wire joining the two deans (the one in the middle) have to be the same length as the wires on either side of it?
and also, since we are running two seperate 3s lipos into the MMM, do we have to plug them in, and unplug them at the same time? could having just one 3s battery connected to the MMM at any time damage it? thanks |
No and No.
Generally, you keep the "bridge wire" as short as possible while allowing enough length to route the wires where they need to go. Doesn't matter which pack of a dual pack setup you hook up first. Until both are plugged in, the ESC sees no voltage at all (since they are in series). It's not like a Novak HV where the BEC is hooked to one set of inputs. |
