xray 808 conversion question
 

For those that converted the 808. Did you use the radio tray? It seems that the servo can be mounted with its own standoff without the radio tray.

I don’t really understand the questions (sorry) did I mount the front steering servo within the planned location of the body yes!.

I mounted my radio box on top of the steering servo plate, I used a Traxxas 3905 water tight servo box so my radio receiver wouldn’t get damaged..

On my 808 I did cut the stock CF radio tray and sanded the cut edge smooth with sandpaper.
