new guy here

Got a duo and when i go to charge or balance my 3s a123 it says output circuit problem??? Ive never used a lithium charger but im pretty sure every thing is hooked up right like balance taps and its set 9.9 a123 2300 mah. This is frustrating me because i ordered this charger from bishop power products and i received it when troy was still working there. I hope he didnt send me a broke charger in a new box. That guy had some issues cause he sent me the wrong charger the first time and i had ship it back and wait another month to to get what i got now and its not working. I hope its something simple. Please any advice helps . thanks

make sure you have the pack hooked up to the output that you have all the settings set for. Sounds dumb but I've done it, had a bunch of packs and adapters sitting around the charger and grabbed the wrong output connector. Now I make sure I have a clear area.

Try it without the balance taps connected, and check the voltage of the pack/cells with a multimeter, just to rule out a bad connection inside the pack.

You need to upgrade to 1.7. That's an old stock. Hopefully it's not broke.

The new ones came with V1.7 but you can update it to v1.9. You You'll need to buy the wires in order to update your charger to the newest firmware.
