Mm & 13.5 ?

Im looking for a esc for my new tc4 & i have a ?. I will be using a speedpassion 13.5 motor . This is a sensored motor . How would this motor run on a MM with the sensor cable discounted ?.

I have ran a novak 4.5 and LRP 3.5 on my mamba max in a TC4. You will get some cogging during start-up (older firmware). I have not tried it with the new firmware since I'm now running castle 7700.

The newer 1.2 firmware is a big improvement in the starting algorithm. If going really slow, you might still see a little "chattering" (not really cogging), but only a problem if you ease into the throttle very slowly (like taking 10 seconds to go from neutral to WOT).

Will it hurt the motor running a sensored motor unsensored ?.

Not at all. A sensored motor is simply a sensorless motor with a sensor attached to it.

Okay . Im asking about the MM because im having a hard time finding a esc thats in stock that i like. The only draw back to using a MM in my tc4, is that i dont have a laptop to take to the track to change any settings.

Instead of taking the computer to the track, take the track to the computer.
