Harold check out this thread for some of your LS10 upgrades.

There's a few nice tips in there.

Sorry Harold.. that sucks...:diablo: Did you check EBay for parts??

_paralyzed_ 02.02.2009 01:10 PM

nothing on the bay. It's a tough lil truck, parts are just getting scarce. Lincpimp watching? What's the wheel bearing size?? 5x10xwhat??

Gee 02.02.2009 01:59 PM

Yeah, it's takes the small bearing 5x10s. I upgraded my carriers to the HPI MT2 so it takes larger bearings now. The 5x10s seemed to go pretty fast in it. The thread I linked to in the above post has the part numbers. Also theres an upgrade to use a different servo saver that goes in the bellcrank instead of the one that goes on the servo. It's in that link also. They are tough little trucks, pretty hefty too. I think that's one of the reasons the smaller bearing don't hold up as long.

thanks Gee, I'll read through that link. I just frickin ordered the parts, or I would upgrade to the mt2 stuff. Still unsure of the width of the bearing. Or doesn't it matter? 5x10x what width?

edit: all links in the ls10 thread are dead

Should be 5x10x4... Std metric clutch bell bearings. ultimate hobbies had parts, IIRC. And I found a bunch of stuff on ebay a while back.

_paralyzed_ 02.02.2009 06:50 PM

thanks, ebay doesn't have crap. I'll check ultimate
