My New Axial SXC10 Scale Truck
Just finished building last week and have some pics. Great truck, fun build. Based off the AX10 but with 1.9 proline tires, axial 1.9 beadlocks, scale ladder frame c-channel chassis and so on. This is built to be waterproof with an XL-5 ESC and waterproof hitec servo. At some point I plan on a different body, aluminum shocks, dig, and a few other things. I will let the pics say the rest.....
Quick note though, it has the two battery packs for weight until I get my wheel weights and the body is my first try at painting something detailed. http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...P/CIMG1954.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...P/CIMG1955.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...P/CIMG1957.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...P/CIMG1958.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...P/CIMG1959.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...P/CIMG1960.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...P/CIMG1961.jpg |
Hey! Thats a good use for brushed stuff...
But in all seriousness, that is an awesome truck. Great job.:great: |
Looks good Tex, not really scale, but still good. I like the chassis design, but I would prefer a hard plastic body on it. Something like the new bright jk body would fit well, with the axle width at least.

Nice

The body came with it, so I painted it and slapped it on. I don't anticipate it will stay, just haven't decided what I want on it. No jeeps though, too many of those and not really my thing. I may would use a yota body, but too many still. I may consider the Tundra body from the newer hi-lift kit...
The really nice thing about the kit is that axial gives you a lot of extra parts to use for all different setups, so mounting options and body types are somewhat limitless. Just undecided, but the truck is a blast to drive none the less. Thanks for the compliments! |
