HPI Savage Flux V2 or V3 MMM ???

Just looking around it seems someone has already popped a Flux speedy

The wires on the ESC are directly soldered to the board for the power, unlike my MMM V3 which has the large plugs.

Which begs the question, is the Flux equipped with a V2 or V3 Monster max?

on the motor side mine has 3 large plugs but on the battery side it also has 2 large plugs for a lead to battery, on my flux however the battery side lead is soldered directly to the board (no plugs) but the motor still connects using plugs.

There is a good reason the battery side is now direct soldered wires. If for any reason the battery side leads get pulled and the plugs come out of the esc you have 2 live male plugs just begging to touch together so the sparks can fly. I almost did this while trying to unplug my battery once. I now have mine cable tied in so they can't pull out of the esc no matter what.

Someone from CC said there are two versions of V3 (wouldn't that be a sub-version?). Anyway, there are V2s out there with all wires soldered, but have been upgraded to V3 status. Then, there are actual V3s with the power wires soldered. It just depends on who you got it from and where their stock was pulled from at CC.

Well, I just ordered the 2200Kv combo directly from Castle last week. I'll post some pics once it arrives.
