Medusa in the dirt

I see talk about covers for them. So until one is available it would not be wise to run it in the dirt??? I am going to be putting it in a Slash.

Mike makes a bolt on front cover, and I highly recommend it. The threaded holes in the can are not that deep, and I have seen them strip out. The cover bolts on and has its own threaded holes, so if you strip them you just replace the cover. I also think Mike is working on a rear cover. I will just use some al tape to cover those holes. A clamp is also a good idea, as the rear endbell is just pressed on.

"silver tape" as it's revered to in the HVAC business, same Aluminum tape linc refered to works great. It's super sticky so anyarticles that do get in will stick to it as well. I've been using it on mine and have no issues, gave some to Arct1k at the bash and he's been happy with it as well. If you don't want to buy a whole role pm me.
