I'm jump to 17mm hexes with foams... Transmission won't last long with a 1515 - mine lastest about 3-4 runs...
Can that really still be called a rustler? |
Yeah, I really need some pics to enjoy flaming you to its fullest. Welcome to RCM!

The video of my 2nd run...poor quality and for the first 60 seconds the runs are slow but it was testing runs to prove the design...it works well!

I wouldn't exactly call that a Rustler anymore.
That does bring about a good question though. At what point does the vehicle cease to be called by its original name and begin being referred to as a custom vehicle? |

I haven't seen anything remotely 'stock' getting anywhere near 80mph, so maybe Custome Rustler is more appropriate for anything over 80?? My third run ended tragically with "Rustler" being run over... http://i703.photobucket.com/albums/w...r/Image000.jpg http://i703.photobucket.com/albums/w...r/Image001.jpg So I'm onto Gen 3, which should be complete in a couple of weeks |

Whenever you finish your rebuild, rebuild it with the FLM Tranny.
