RC Monster RC8 Conversion question, max spur size
 

what is the maximum spur gear size you can run in the RC8 RC Monster Conversion? wanting to have similar conversions between my RC8 and RC8T. but I use a Kyosho 46T spur gear, and may go with Associateds 46T spur gear as well.

Also, can you use the RC8 Aluminum top plate or do you need the RC Monster setup?

in my exp. it seemed as if the 46t kyosho was rubbing , but you could always use the truck diff mounts for more gearing options
