Revo Hot Clutch bell

i ran my revo with my mamba combo (2200) on 5s for the 1st time today i only ran it for 2-3 mins but the clutch bell got to 110f+ and i think it broke loose my thread lock

what can i do to reduce the heat and drag, punch control is already at 100% and i have a good throttle curve, timing is low . i thought i should remove the curve and have the throtle in a straight line cause the clutch bell will doing its job what do u think guys? and should i leave the clutch shoes in the leading position as tekno converted?

anyhelp would be good
Thanks

Hi,
The clutch will operate between 120-170 degrees with zero problems, 110 is very low and won't cause any problems with your setscrew. Set your throttle curve to linear and reduce your punch control. Keep the shoes in the leading position, trailing will only increase heat.

110 is really cool.......my 2 shoe clutch operates around 150 plus. I have never had a problem because of the heat either. Like Matthew said, it's normal operating temperature.

Experiment with it. Try 50% first and see if you like it or not and then go from there.
