Number of cells...
Hallo boys auguries of good festivities to all, I wanted to know which number of turns is the best for motor brushless type feigao xl-L? Type the 7xl with 14 cells?is good?
9Xl whit 18 cells is good? Thanks hand happy new year |
Happy new year, the 7xl with 14 cells is good, and so is the 9xl on 18 cells, but you will have way more torque with the 18cell 9xl , if you want added runtime id try a 10xl on 18 cells.

I'am going for the 10XL on 20 cells or 6s Iwill let you all know what it's like;)

I like the 9xl myself on the 16-18 cells. I can run for 25-30 min with gp3700. 7 xl I don't get much run time on 14 cells or 18cells.

yeah, the sweet range is a 9xl 10xl for you, virusss.

Thanks very much boys I will use a 9XL with 18 cells

just to mix it up, I am really happy with 8xl and 16 cells.

What kind of times you get on that set up junkman? I have not ran a 8xl. I sure the power is good and such but was wondering on times.

I bought my batteries several years ago, they were pretty top of the line matched 2400's of the day, They had only been used one winter and I kind of got out of r/c. When I decided to buy the emaxx took several of the packs apart made 8 cell packs out of them. They run really well and dump at once, but I have never had anything higher mah to compare. I am running 15/66, but I have taller losi claw tires. Playing with it around the yard, street in front of the house lots of full speed, and slow play, always in 2nd gear I am getting a pretty solid 20-25 minutes. I havn't timed it to a tee, but just glancing at the clock when I walk out the door, and again when I come back in. The truck is bone stock other than the motor/controller/batteries/tires.
