14 cell?

should i regear for a 14 cell setups?

question for mike: if i buy the 14 cell setup, can one of you guys do deans females instead of the tamyia connectors for a small price?

thanks

I think Mike has them with deans but not sure. If he does not have them he can get them. Oh, welcome to the boards :D Why are you getting bulks just for the front??

kmracer66 01.04.2006 06:38 PM

ive never broken rears. i already have them installed. they work well.

today was the first bash with the - parts installed and it was great. i havnt run the truck in a while due to the bulkhead, so i took it down to the local BMX track/wetlands and ran the truck. it had just rained so it was good. i jumped the truck probly 8 times, solid every time. i had been in a few mud puddles inbetween jumps, and on my last jump, the truck died. i figured water had gotten in the reciver. i was right. i packed up and went home. as i was carrying the truck, i noticed the front skid had bent adout 15* forward and had a nice large scratch. lol. im gonna have to bend that back.

Are you planing on going Brushless??

RC-Monster Mike 01.04.2006 09:44 PM

Yes, the Deans' connectors can be wired to the batteries-no problem. A general rule is to drop a tooth on the pinion when you add a cell.

kmracer66 01.05.2006 03:14 AM

alright, is that free of charge mike?

and i MIGHT go brushless, sometime within the next 20 years. maybe.

i really dont know right now. i just want a really balanced truck for now. i want good speed, runtime, handleing, jumping, and toughness.

boss 302 01.05.2006 05:51 PM

go brushless now and save yourself from the frustration of brushed motors plus youll get more runtime with a brushless motor system

kmracer66 01.05.2006 09:26 PM

i dont have 500 bucks to shovel out for supporting mods. im gonna run the stock titans with 7 cells.

Sylvester 01.05.2006 11:00 PM

Yeah, just get used to 7 cell titans and you will be ok with BL, yeah BL does cost a bit but i bet its worth every penny:)

RC-Monster Mike 01.05.2006 11:23 PM

Deans/Tamiya...same price. No worries. :)

Sylvester 01.05.2006 11:25 PM
