With Tekin's new system...for 6s on a Revo, 1700kv, 1550 or 1350kv

This will go in my Revo....so I can't decide which one to get...on 6s the 1550 will probably be a tad more efficient, but, the 1700 will be faster...decisions, decisions:neutral:

1550 gets my vote.

magman 03.20.2009 10:28 PM

I added the 1350 to the list of possibilities

brushlessboy16 03.20.2009 10:35 PM

also going with the 1550. should be really nice sensored :)

I can't wait to finish the truck and put this new system in it

I would opt for the 1550 or the 1700 on 6s. 1350 seems a tad slow IMO.

Yeah it will be a tad slow...I am leaning toward the 1550 on the premise of being tad more efficient and not a lot of speed loss

BrianG 03.20.2009 10:58 PM

I really don't get why people have a problem with faster motors and efficiency being lower. The efficiency curve of most motors is pretty high up to the last ~20% of the rpm range from what I've seen (Griffins program). Actually, too low of an rpm is less efficient.

True..I am just trying to be too conservative I guess

Any of those motors will be fine and all about the same eff wise. Its just depends on how much spd you want out of it. Even the 3D will be plenty fast unless you are building a 60mph street rocket. Here's the guy from Tekno running a 3D on 6S iin an 8T in truggy class and destroying everybody. BL motors don't need massive rpms to be fast. I'd make my decision on desired speeds rather than minor eff differences.

if you will be doing any serious racing on a track I would go with the 1.5y model w/6s, I am looking at the 2.5d
