zippy lipo's performance comparisons

its been stated that zippy R are the best, zippy H comes second, and zippys are last.
so what about the rhino's and the flightmax...do these come in after the third place zippy's? if so, which comes in fourth, the rhinos or flightmax?
also, is there even much of a difference in performance between the zippy h's vs rhino vs flightmax.
im not interested in the zippy r's.

thanks

The flightmax batts looks to be great! Probably up there with #1. They're 30c if that says anything...

i find that odd. cus the flight max are actually the cheapest of the bunch haha.

Zippy fan!!!

I'm running 5s 5000 Flightpower Zippy's in my Muggy. I'm fully impressed, great power, long runtimes and no temp problems. Every bit as good as my Enerland pack with the same specs. At less than half the cost of some of the others, you can't go wrong with the Zippy's

Sorry if this sounds like a Zippy ad:lol:

I just wish they would do a 4000 5s Flightpower pack for buggy!

you mean flightmax right? have you tried the other zippys though? cus i have heard the same good things with them. im just thinking, if the other zippys (rhino and zippy h's) have better power, since they are a bit more expensive.

I have run Zippy's (blue wrap) and rhino's and they have held up fairly well. I did damage one of each during my early lessons of proper lipo batt care and after taking them apart, I found the Rhino's are built better than the standard zippy. Performance wise I haven't noticed any differences.

The flightmax seem to be the cutting edge of zippy batteries on price and performance. I would get them if I were you. I'm waiting for the 4s 5000mah 30c to come back in stock...

You and me both!!! Anyone know the typical restock time? I wanna run my car by the beginning of summer lol

Metallover 03.25.2009 10:08 PM

It says late march for the one I'm looking at, so hopefully within a week or so.

I couldn't be happier with my 3s 30c 5000 mah flightmaxx's. I'm hard pressed to see them break 80 degrees LOL. Balance perfectly, and always in near balance at the end of a run (except when I hit LVC, but all lipos get out of balance at LVC)

anyone get an email from HC on zippy arrival?? I don't know how much longer I can wait before buying something else.

tonkabilly 03.30.2009 12:37 PM

Been waiting for the 6s 5000's for 2 weeks. Said late March. Just checked and says mid April now. Might try and see if I can change my order to the H seies as they are in stock.

I wanted those also, hell I'll even take a 5s pack with the same MAH. Were you waitng on the flightmax 5000's. How good are the H packs and whats the diff between them?? I am installing an MMV3 2650kv setup and I just don't feel a 4s is enough for it.Am I wrong?

azjc 03.30.2009 01:37 PM

2650 motor will draw the amps, with 4s you will have over 38k rpms wich is aprroaching the high limit of what you want

tonkabilly 03.30.2009 01:54 PM

Yup, waiting on the FlightMax packs. Would rather have them from everything I have read. Just don't want to have to wait another month for them.
