drivecups

ok I already posted in the emaxx forum, and now I will post here:
Anybody know where i can get drivecups for center dogbones for a revo convesion that's using a 3905 center diff? I have the v3 hybrid diffs and i can only run this way now, and I need some advice on reasonably priced drivecups and shafts..I've been IMing Mike about them but he's apparently pretty busy and I would like to get up and running because it's been a while now and i havent had a chance to get it running. Someone suggested UE drivecups, so I went on their website and I can't find just the cups...so please help me!!:oh:

UE have the 8mm cups in stock.

Normally, I wouldn't do this, but since he's busy, maybe you can try http://rcalloys.com/

You need 2 of these:

George16, Thanks dude...what does the 8mm mean? 8mm in circumference? And they fit the transmission right?
BrianG-I am going to check that site out thanks a lot!

George16 04.03.2009 09:07 PM

8mm is the internal diameter which is what you need for the size of the pinion shaft you have. I have a bunch of them being used on my trucks.

Urgeoner 04.03.2009 09:09 PM

ok, because Mike told me about 6mm ones that he had in stock; they wouldn't work on the 3905 tranny then right?

George16 04.03.2009 09:13 PM

I didn't fully read your OP. Yes you need the 6mm cups for the tranny output shaft and 8mm for the pinion in the diffs.

So the 8mm UE cups will fit on the v3 output shafts?

Urgeoner 04.03.2009 09:15 PM

hmm...wondering if UE has the 6mm ones now...

Urgeoner 04.03.2009 09:16 PM

yes they do =)

No. The V3 uses a pinion which has a 5mm end(mugen, I believe). The V1 and V2 uses the Hot Bodies diff which have a 8mm pinion shaft. Sorry for the confusion.

Urgeoner 04.03.2009 09:17 PM

what do the 5mm drivecups fit on? oops^^ my bad

Urgeoner 04.03.2009 09:19 PM

will the hotbodies diff fit inside the v3? 8mm is stronger than 5mm...
