BrianG 04.05.2009 12:34 PM

Which CC ESC are you talking about?

super dave 04.05.2009 01:10 PM

hey brian i have mamba v3

Metallover 04.05.2009 01:25 PM

So you have a mamba monster v3? What motors are you talking about?

BrianG 04.05.2009 01:28 PM

Since he said "the combos", I assume either the 2650 or 2200.

You can use the MMM ESC with pretty much any motor you want as long as the rpm's aren't too high and is sized for the vehicle.

yah i was thinking of using the 2000 motor in my truggy with the v3 on 6s pacs

You can use our T8 motors with the CC esc, it's not sensored but it will work. The full potential will not be realizes without the RX8.

Can we get plugs for the sensor port so they don't get dirty if run as sensorless? I'm looking for a motor and ESC for one of my Hyper 7s and I'd like to run the MMM with the 1700KV T8.

I would like a slightly shorter sensor wire as well. :)

super dave 05.02.2009 09:32 AM

the update is on the factory web site now for the hotwire to use with rx8 (thanks ty and jim)

We have a 100mm sensor wire also that is half the length: TT3811

A piece of servo tape or electrical tape should do the trick. I'll look into the plugs.

Tape works fine, I was wondering if there was a little rubber or plastic plug we could put in there for a more permanent solution though.

+1 on sensor plug........and a vote for a longer sensor wire.

hootie7159 05.03.2009 01:53 AM

A longer sensor wire!?!?!...you've probably mounted you motor to the front huh?bc the included wire is pretty long already LOL

TekinTeamMgr 05.03.2009 01:24 PM

If there is a need or desire we will look into it. I'm sure there is as guys adding these to M/T or some other app may want one as well. I was thinking 250mm but you're wanting longer than that so maybe 275 or 300mm.
