lipo charge setting on hyperion

I am confused on my charger, I have a 3s 5000 pack and a 3s 3000 pack.
it puts about 2500 in the 5000, and about 16-1800 in the 3000. i have the balancer connected when charging. is there a setting for lipos that changes the peak detection sensitivity? I have ran the pack through my mamba max and it slows way down then within a minute wont move unless it sets for just a couple of seconds then will move and few feet and it repeats. so iIam pretty sure it is the lvc tripping and I wouldn't think it would trip that early on a mamba max.

any help is appreciated.

what brand of lipos do you have, it sounds like the same thing that happened with a Maxxamps pack I had

What do you have the lvc set at? Try setting to 9.0v and see if that helps. Most would prefer a setting between 9.3-9.6v for more safety margin but if you have it set that high on a setup drawing lots of current with poor quality cells you will trip it real early. Even set to 9.0v if you pull the pack as soon as you hit the lvc and check the voltage it will prolly come back up to about 3.4/cell by the time you check it

Um, is the charger set for some kind of storage charge mode? Seems awfully coincidental that it puts 1/2 the charge back in...
