SMC 2s 6000 28c in parallel for 1/8th

I just ordered two of these to run them in series in my MP7.5. with the MMM 2650

just wondering why there aren't more guys running batteries in series.

these batts were just under 180 shipped from stormer, and SMC is def a quality company.

what are your opinions on running 2s packs in series?

If you run 2s packs in parallel you double the mah, but retain the same voltage. So in your case you would have 2s 12000mah. Most would run 2 2s packs in series for 4s for some 1/8 scale.

re-read please. my brain is in the clouds since its friday.

i meant series.

I figured as much!

Anyways, running 2 lipos in series is no big deal. Most people who run above 6s use 2 packs in series. More charger selection under 6s. Anyone who has an emaxx or erevo does this too.

sorry for a bit off-topic, but a week ago or something someone told me about SMC LiPo's, and I've never heard of them before. Are these SMC LiPos new or something maybe? And do they have good LiPo packs? (Are the 40C packs from SMC better than the TunderPower 40C packs?)

Thank you,

Patrick

talk to danny-smc over at rctech. he will set you straight. its all what you want in a name brand, SMC has been around for along time with nimh batts, but they only make lipos now.

i can tell you that i have them, and love them. they are incredible.

yeah, it was a big snafu on the || series thing. my bad. this should be good for me!.
