You need to swap the servo resverse on your radio for the throttle channel, recalibrate the radio, and most likely swap 2 of the motor to esc wires. Take the pinion off and see if the red or green light on the esc comes on when you throttle forward. If the red comes on you need to swap the servo reversing switch and recalibrate so that the green light comes on when you throttle forwards. Then put the pinion back on and see which way the truck goes, if it goes backwards when you throttle forwards you need to swap 2 of the motor wires.

If you have the Futaba radio, you need to reverse the throttle switch. If not, just swap 2 of the wires.

yea it was the wires  they should color code the connectors on the mmv3

Just set your ESC to Forward only temporarily until you get it all figured out. Helps prevents mishaps like this.
