single speed tranny??
 

I am BL right now but still need to solder up everything but I had a ? on the single tranny conversion mike sells. Is the 2 speed stock tranny with ultramaxx idler a weak link? When I shift back and forth does this make it a lot weaker gearing wise. I just figure with two gears you can get the torque in the first then shift for speed in 2nd. Just what to know what you guys think. Seems like a lot of people here changed over to the single speed tranny. THanks again guys.

I would wait till you have it up and running cause i think most people do the single speed conversion cause they find they dont use first gear cause of the torque brushless has, plus being single speed its stronger and theres less rotating mass. but i think you should be alright with your ultramaxx gears
