Does anyone knows x1 CRT gear ratio?

Ep cars hv gear ratio does gp cars hv? It's not d diff ratio which is 43/13. Pls advise thx

Could you say that again? I cant follow what you said.

What you need to do is take the diff ratio and multiply it by your spur:pinion ratio. Truggies are direct drive, so there is no transmission gear ratio involved.

For instance:

Diff Ratio: 43:13
Spur/Pinion: 62:13

Total gear ratio is = 43/13 * 62/13 = 15.775:1
1 revolution of the tires = 15.775 revolutions of the motor

How abt 46/11x 43/13=13.53?

Or 50/11x43/13=15.01 or

50/11x45/10=20

Which is best final gear ratio?
How's this final gear ratio?

Will my esc n motor be too hot?

Depends on the motor, voltage and tires.

How do I calculate that? I m using medusa 1600kvx70mm, 4s or 6s 5000 n proline lpr tires

Can I assume the more revolutions the hotter the motor?

No, not really. It depends primarily on the load of the motor.

A 36-70-1600 on 4S with 13:46 gearing should do ok. Likewise, 6S on that motor should do ok with that gearing too. The gearing on 4S puts you around 34mph and on 6S puts you around 50mph.

nice, how do u calculate the speed for 13.46 gearing? I need the speed for 15.01 gearing

Put all of the information in here and it'll do all the work for you:

Thx I hv used that script but it only tells me speed not optimium final gear ratio. Becoz if it's not optinium the esc n motor will b hot right? I saw a script for 1/10 novak gearing guide but it's for 1:10 I wonder do we hv for 1/8?

just gear for 40-45mph and all will be well and run cool.

So on 4s I gear let's say 11 pinion n on 6s I lower the pinion?
