8ight T Battery Trays

I have an 8ight T with the Losi Battery Tray that came with the conversion kit. I have now broken two trays, they snapped near the rear. I'm using HD velcro so the batterys don't slide around. Any one else having this problem?

I have also read that others break the losi batt trays. Something about the plastic they use being on the weak side.
