Trany Gears

Hey guys. I see Mike is selling the e-maxx transmission gears.

If I get the single speed conversion and I want to build the trany what parts do I need?

Trying to estimate the cost of a brushless revo :D

well if you run the flm half case or the plastic stock tranny for starts. Going to need the out put and idler shaft to. Going to need the bearings. need 4 on the bottom shaft and 2 for idler gear steel from mike and 2 on input shaft. I don't recall sizes. input shaft to. I can search for bearing sizes if need be.

What gears will I need?

I basically need an entire part # list with prices to see how much it'll cost.

Around 80 dollars or something less.

captain harlock 01.14.2006 07:32 PM

Here you go:
-FLM HALF CASE $40
-GMAXX SINGLE SPEED CONV 60
-RC-MONSTER IDLER 15
-TRAXXAS OUTPUT SHAFT 7.50
-TRAXXAS INPUT SHAFT 7
-OUT PUT 31T GEAR 3
Thats about everything.

You need the tranny's bearings. Ask Mike about it.

Any time, bros.

Rcbros 01.14.2006 08:12 PM

well I'm trying to decide if I want to build an e-revo or just put money into the nitro revo and race it.

If I build the e-revo I'll need everything but the controller and motor and batts and tires and wheels lol

Sylvester 01.14.2006 08:19 PM

E-REVO E-REVO!! lol

Rcbros 01.14.2006 09:04 PM

well the problem is my track doesn't have a electric MT class.

And mostly only the pro-series runs over here in oregon so its mostly just nitro :(

That would be a good reason to build a brushless g2r and smoke the pros. Then you be looked up to as a pro killer. :L:

Yeah, sounds cool, Coolhand.:)
