UBEC Opinions?

Alright, since I'm planning to run 12 cells, should I run the ubec or not. I know its not necessary with the 9920, but everyone seems to reccomend it.

I have heard though that it sometimes causes more interferance and really isn't worth it. So any other options? It's in a 1/8th buggy.

No need for a Ubec imo.

eversince it has got rather small wheels the steering servo won't take too much power. it should be fine without the ubec!

The benefit of using the UBEC for this is slighlty better voltage to thensteering servo. The controller will be fine on 12 cells usings its own bec.

what about for 16 cells in my revo?

Use the UBEC or a receiver pack on 16 cells. I have gotten away without using the UBEC on up to 6s Lipo, but I certainly don't recommend it. It is asking for a controller malfunction.
