I was looking for a new buggy,Everyone says losi 8ight.What do you guys think?I was also looking at the rc8e or jammin'.I need a upgrade from my ofna ravager-E. I want something durable also. So what do you guys think?

mbx-6 is good as well....or the X-ray 808. I have a mbx-5 and it is bomb proof.
Anything that has been converted to brushless!!!
Do you have a price limit? My D8 has been working perfect...
any top buggy will do. it all depends on your budget.
8ight 2.0 mbx-6 mp9 D9 XB808 RC8 every car has it's issues, strenghts, weaknesses. pick something people around you run and your LHS has parts for. |

RC8 and 8ight have factory conversion kits for BL conversion. Maybe soon HB D8 will come out with conversion kit or something. One good buggy is Hyper 9 too, probably soon we will see some factory conversion kits for Hyper. If you plan go factory 8E class maybe RC8 or 8ight is your choise? Personaly I like RC8 more its tough and parts are fairly cheap too and its very common buggy If you plan to build I conversion personally go for Xray XB808 or Mugen. XB808 difficult to set up properly if you novice and first impression can be bad with factory setup. But quality is top notch, never brake any plastic parts, only some wear... I never liked Kyoshos, parts expensive and quality is bad for that Price at least with MP777, maybe MP9 is now better dunno.. HB D8 simplier to set up and handeled better in my taste than XB808. |
will this is a electric site so i say, caster fusion pro.
I have one and love it. |
I would like to think "budget" wise ,but you know the cost of repairs when you get a weak rc. so...
Your best bet is to pick up something used then. There is always someone selling something. I don't know what Skellyo still has but he put an RC8 up for sale yesterday I think.
I would go with X-RAY, because they make great quality parts for the money, but if you have a budget, go with a used mugen mbx5 buggy, they are very durable. seriously, i had a mbx5 and converted it, and it is still holding up to all the racing it going through.
I think I would get the D8, 808, or MBX-6. Probably in that order.
Looks like the d8 is alot cheaper.hmmm
a rc8 buggy with a rc-monster kit is a good choice imo
