Tuning help needed!

I'm not an idiot but I need some help. After my first day at the track with my RC8T I have some tuning to do. I need to get through the turns better. The only way I could get through the turns was to almost stop then go real slow or lots of throttle to brake manipulation. I couldn't go through them wih a smooth throttle as it just pushed. I'm pretty sure I need to start playing with diff fluids. One problem is that I'm not 100% sure what is in them, bought it already assembled and was told that it prolly has what was recomended in the manual (7k all around). Originally I thought I was going to have to thicken the center, bashing around it seemed to unload the front a lot but on the track it doesn't seem bad. As for the turning I'm not sure what diff needs to be changed! Could it be the rear is to thick causing to much posi action making it push the front straight? Or do I need to play with the front? Or could the center actually be to thick for the track not allowing the front to stay planted and pull through the turns (this seems least likely as it doesn't seem to want to pull the front off the ground much at all on the track)?

Any help is appreciated or just telling me where to find the info. I thought that there was already a thread on here describing this stuff but I had no luck finding it.
