CRT.5 wheel Q

going to be placing an order very soon for some new tires. What wheels work on the .5? I know they're 2.2 with a 12mm hex but do they use fronts or rears?

reply about .5 wheels

the stock wheel is base on an assosiated b2 buggy rear so the off set is quite a bit wider. The tires are 1/10th buggy rears and they work good on the stock chassis but not so well on the RCM chassis. have fun !

Is that the wrong link?

Thanks magnan. I know that stock is a 2.2 rear buggy tire but wasn't sure about the wheels. Figure the offset or the webbing inside a dish might be different front to rear. My .5 only has the OFNA extended chassis, I have run 1/10 truck tires but prefer the smaller buggy tires. The whole reason I got a .5 was to have something that was a bit bigger and handled better than a rc18t. I'm thinking of trying the proline dirt hawg buggy tire. Looks to be a decent all terrain tire, and might even me out if I go out on the track with the 1/10 2wd trucks. Guess I'll order 2 sets of rear tires and 2 sets of front wheels.

the dirt hawg rear buggy tire is more of a street tire to me. Try something a bit different. They really done get any traction in dirt or grass. I know the name but it does not live up to the hype of the name. I use them as my street tires. And they work great.

Well I ordered the buggy dirt hawgs and some bandit VXL rims yesterday. I know they won't bite to well on dirt but that will help to keep me from totally embarassing the 2wd guys
