G3R rear bulk plate
I just recently bought two GMaxx G3R's and I notice on tons of pics that where the ESC plate mounts that none of the trucks have this rear bulk plate. This plate actually makes my ESC sit a little higher because of the plate sitting on top of the rear plate. Was this the G3 chassis and not the R that did not have the rear bulk plate? I will probably have to make a custom mount like a majority of everyone who has built a G3 just to have clearance to mount the body in line with the chassis plate and not have to ride it high to clear the ESC. I was just curious if anyone has managed to mount their ESC in this stock position with the GMaxx ESC plate kit and if so could you snap a pic to show? Thanks

Nope - Looked at it but decided it was way to high... mount mine on the spare ear of the motor mount... Motor on one side of the transmission ESC on the other

Yes that is what I am thinking I am going to do also. I like the "Factory" look but I know of no one who has got this to work. That is why I was curious to see if anyone actually left their ESC there in that position. I am still running the EMaxx powerplants so the extra side isn't available right now. I need to quit spending money on my UE trucks and get some brushless equipment. But I am so close to having two full blown UE trucks so I have to wait for brushless till they are done. hehe Thanks Arct1k

On mine i ran the MMM on the rear plate but had to cut a hole in the shell to mount it. I only did this for tuning my setup and than i mad up a plate that mounted the speedy over the motor.
