Tamiya's new truggy
what you guys think?

Funny, never thought Tamiya as a real offroading company.
Looks like a ERevo almost ^_^ And of course it has a bathtub chassis (Like the TT01), and it's shaft driven. |
looks nothing like an e-revo. if you want a tamiya truggy get the 801xt... That thing looks a half step above toys R' us spec.
|
It's 1/10th so I would hardly put it in the 1/8th truggy class. Also the XB series are generally targeted to hobby novices and not true racers and/or experienced hobbyists.
I am sure being tamiya and all it is well built but probably lacks some performance and handling characteristics that other trucks have. I also would like to know when people will give up on nimh technology for BL applications. |
I saw that too, well, how the body looks, kind of reminds me the of the Revo's body, but that's hardly something.
