Sure it may seem like just a bunch of numbers, but like the ending stated what does it all mean. Funny thing was I had just been discusing this with my wife last night saying that soon we will be no more than another country purchasing all of our goods from China and other more productive nations. Soon there will be no more American cars to buy. We will all be driving foreign vehicles. Think about what that really means financially for the USA... We are in some serious trouble economically and what Obama is doing is only going to make things worse in the long run. Soon we will not be able to aford to support our own government machine, which protects us from morons like Amadinajad, or Kimjongiel. We are heading down a very ugly road that could soon make us look like a third world country to most of the rest of the economic world. I keep my ears to the military progress and just heard that the goverment is begining to shut down programs that protect our country, so we can save money. We spent billions $$$$$$ on the F-22 Raptor program and even more for the new F-35 Raptor program that is up and comming, and now they are both being shut down due to cost over runs. The rest of our air vehicles are falling apart due to age. Some of those figures are pretty scary to where we are headed tech wise. Soon we will not be able to support the military to protect our own boarders.

For one thing the world as a whole is becomming dependant on technology to the point that if for any reason power grids are knocked out that no one will be able to operate on even the simplest of levels, because everything is being run by computers now. Don't get me wrong modern technology is wonderful, but we still have to make sure that we have things to fall back on, and that we still no how to continue without it.
