Some people may say those are still ok, but I personally wouldn't use them. If you want to still do so, I'd be sure I was storing them in some type of liposack or other fire-resistant container. Just not worth losing a car/house to save a few bucks IMO.

Did you measure the voltage? it might be OK, you might just want to pay special attention when you charge/use the pack.

Assume it will burst into flames when you leave it alone and run it,,, take all precautions. You might be able to try to flatten it out with a popsicle stick or something, just be careful. And assume it'll start on fire..

I've seen far worse and people still running them. Not to say that I'd be one of those people. I'd play it safe and charge outside in a fire proof container being present. Wouldn't leave a possible ticking bomb alone in my house or in my car/truck.

(I wonder how many feds are going to read this because of the words "ticking bomb")

Don't use it! Send it to me!

Jason 06.09.2009 08:50 PM

so I can still use it but with more precautions right ?

atmhobby 06.09.2009 09:07 PM

Yeah, you can definately use it, just keep an eye on it, especially while you are charging it.

I charge it right now the voltage of each cells was good the pack dont seem out of balance ...

Bondonutz 06.12.2009 06:50 PM

I have a 3s 20C pack from TrueRC that was run over by a Caravan while it was in my FLM Stampede and It was bent like a bananna and it still balances, charges and works perfectly. I'm NOT saying yours is going to be OK, It is possible though.
Keep and eye on it and keep it outside the house for a few days to make dam sure !

Jason 06.12.2009 06:54 PM

fews days after the incident the pack still look the same and now I decided to charge it in my lipo sack
