Nue Customer Service?

Has anyone had problems with Nue?

I sent them a motor over a month ago and I guess it's just gone.

They wont answer the phone or return my voicemails I have left repeatedly.

The one time out of literally 7 times I've called that I got a person she transferred me to a man who said he couldn't find my motor and took my number so he could call me back later.

That was about 4 weeks ago and I haven't heard from them and they won't return my call.

I guess I'm just out a 1515/1.5/D/F :grrrrrr:

That's odd...I had excellent customer support when I sent my 1512 in for repairs....granted it was a year ago. Just keep trying!

My experience with them is that they are very difficult to get a hold of, but once you do they are generally helpful. I would def. keep trying to call them, they have sort of strange business hours, I think they are posted on the site somewhere. If they acknowledge that they have recieved your motor and lost it then they owe you a motor regardless.

A month ago you say? Sometime around that period Neu started shipping thier new 3-piece can designs with super big bearings.

I just called Neu regarding their special deals, and the phone rang literally for 1 second before a lady picked up.

I just got off the phone with the girl at Neu.

She said they have no record of a motor with my name on it coming in in the last year.

So I guess it's just gone.

I don't know who to blame the US Postal Service or Neu.

I hope you put insurance on the package, if so then you can screw over the P.O. for whatever the motor is worth. It took them 3 weeks to fix my 1515 1.5D and that was completely rebuilding it and benchtesting it, IIRC it was Sherie that I talked to to pay for it and she was very helpful.

did you insure it?
if you did not

Or at minimum did you get delivery confirmation or tracking? At least then if you didn't have insurance on it you will know whether or not Neu even recieved it and if they did and you show them proof I would think they will help you out. If not....then I'm afraid you are going to be out a motor.
