KYOSHO plastic spur

Hey guys just got my e-mbx5r running and well i hear that a plastic spur would help keep things cooler.. and help with that loud noise from metals rubbing.

PS Ohe yeah will that KYOSHO SPUR fit the MUGEN Diff??

Have a poke around the buggy/truggy sub-forum for answers, best place to look since thats where the majority of conversions are located (pro-active research will yield much quicker response/ results).

Welcome to RCM.

I have a mbx-5 that I converted and I am still using the stock metal gear. IMO....it does not make it that much of a difference. Does it make it less noisy..sure. I just like having the steel spur, that's all

If anything, I see the biggest advantage to running a plastic spur is that in case of something binding real bad or getting jammed in the drivetrain I fry a $4 gear than something more expensive.....

Ok thanks!
