Mamba max heat problem
 

THe mamba max in my rc10b4 is temping at 175 at the end of a 10minute run, the setup is:

start power high
timing (0)
no punch control or anything else.

I took some time to cut the air vents in my proline vortex body for some more cooling along with the front windshield.

It was originally geared 24/78 which i found to be really high, changed the pinion and spur to the current gearing, and the problem persists. The motor temp is 145 after a run and the batteries are at 95. what am I missing?

If I could wedge my MMM into the car I would.

Try lowering the start power

also lowering the timing and add punch could help

and i think you overgeared no?

Been checking and rechecking the speed calculator- im geared for about 35mph with tire ballooning

timing is at 0 and punch is at zero, ill try start power and see what happens

Maybe the motor is on it's last leg.. :sleep:

I doubt it, that thing runs like a bandit, perfect torque curve for the little car.
