i made my own dust protector''warning big pics''!!!
 
yes i was tired to open my monster for cleaning the blocked/broken/jammed fan.. this will protect the monster against little stone,sand or anything else:whistle:

i build this on the traxxas mmm older(its for my e-revo basher)..look weird(not easy to work with 5min epoxy glue:lol:) but i will finish with a paint job tomorow<

thanks...!!!the finish is not perfect but this mod do the job!!!!!no need to open my monster after each run(i take really care of my esc) and the air flow is more than enought:whistle:

Maybe get a small peice of screen for a screen door or window and epoxy it onto the opening, that way you know NOTHing is going to get in there!

Why not just use some wire mesh on the inside of the case. That would catch the little rocks but not so much the dust. Anyways I like your idea!

this is what ive thinked ...but the dust can go in the fan and make it blocked ....like this there less chance to have dust issue:yes:my air flow is behind

good idea... but I like the window screen idea as well... but hey, it's a hell of a lot better than stock... :)

the rear tires will throw dirt and such into the chassis from the rear....

but it does look good but id put some sort of mud/dirt guard on the rear of the chassis the seals out and acts like wheel wells and keep the crap from the rear tires out...
