What capacitors are these?
Hoping someone can give me a little insight.. THis little capacitor board came with my sidewinder esc in a Rc10b4... for the life of me I can not find any information on the board or even the capacitors on it, im trying to figure out if I should replace them with the caps i have lying around (25v 330uF 105c low esr).
The capacitor reads F 7x3b 331 16 The (what I think are) resistors read Pj7D sx34 Pics: http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s...6091431_01.jpg http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s...626091431a.jpg Thanks, Ben edit- holy crap my phone has an amazing camera  |
Do they have a temp rating?

They look like some solid polymer capacitors... very durable, esc's should have been using them for years now. Lower esr, and smaller than standard liquid electrolytic caps.
|
Those aren't resistors, they're diodes.
As for the capacitors, they're solid electrolytic capacitors, which use polymer as electrolyte. |
So use those or the 330uf caps I have?

Can someone explain what those diodes and resistors do in this application?
I have allways thought that capasitors are enought. |
looks like the caps on my burned etti-boat esc and like the cap-board lutach showed in his esc-thread.
when it is delivered with your esc I suppose that it makes sense to use it!? otherwise they would'nt have used these. they won't do that just for fun. flo |
This is the one for the micro ESC:
