GigaCrusher conversion
 

Hey guys

as im rather new to this brushless stuff be kind to me

Any way i have just compleated a brushless conversion on my Kyosho Gigacrusher Dual force using the CC MMM and Neu-Castle 2200kv motor

When i had it going it was absolutly awesome but....

Had a hyperion g3 lipo burst in to flames on me Really dont know why(5000mah 3 cell)

And had 1st gear in my 3 speed trans get eaten due to a major glitching problem( servos hunting for position from about 4 meters out then getting progresivly worse the further you go-this is with out the motor runing just every thing powerd up)

have tried the whole seperation thing eg getting the recever and antenne as far as possable from the esc and tryed different recevers/transmitter combos still at a loss(am running 40Mhz)


Any help would be great

Welcome to the forums! I have a few suggestions for you.
1. Get a spektrum or other 2.4ghz system
2. The MMM 2200 is made to run on 4S or more- you probably puffed your lipo because it was too small for the app. and being pushed too hard.
3. Lock your transmission in 2nd or 3rd gear, the shifting will maul your gears.

how do you lock the trans?

Not too sure- one of the few things I haven't done with a RC. Check in the savage and revo forums though- lots of great info there on how to do it.
