Fastlane Case Problem

hello,

Was trying to put my fastlane transmission case together yesterday and it seems like it doesnt fit.

Using all stock gears and doing it up its realy hard to spin, where as if i put a few washers in and some spaces it runs nicely a free.

It seems like it would work great but i dont realy want to have to run washers around the case to space it out.

Also should the gears be greased ???

Thanks for any help

After a lot of trys its running smoother still not a smooth as it like but its a start and i havnt had to out washers around the case.

used my multi tool and took some material of the top shaft and the thing that the idler gear shafts sit in

Seems ok but not quite perfect yet

Thanks

Are you sure the bearings are seated proper?

Here is what i did;

i removed the pinion from the input shaft, dremeled the notch off, i also needed to take somthing from the gmaxx part, that holds the pin for the idler.

I hope you can do something with this information, sounds like abracadabra, but if you got the thing in hands, you know what i mean..

Hello,

I managed to get my transmission running smooth

I took some material off here and there, problem better but not fixed then i removed a couple of shims and replaced them with a single thinner shim.

Added Rc-monster steel idlers, Greased then put together with shorter stainless screws

Seems to be running ok now .....

Thanks

Yeah, it simple needs some work..

Pity, it could be made perfect with a bit more effort.
