Custom Decals Sites?

I was wanting to make some custom decals for my Brushless Truggy, i have already bought a couple of sheets from Mike. Does anyone know a website were i can create and then have sent to me custom decals for my 1/8 scale stuff? I know there are sites like that for t-shirts. Anyone?

I think we need to make an "Official Mentat Question thread" :lol:So that all your questions you can just put there, Damn I scroll down and all I see is MENTAT MENTAT MENTAT MENTAT MENTAT MENTAT MENTAT! Just make on thread for everything....

I too have noticed the frequency of Mentat's thread/questions, but cannot fault him on the fact he wants to learn. I would also suggest that he reads more of the existing material in the forum (save for my threads as they only exist to indicate that poorly trained hamsters could actually rule the world with minimal effort) as many of the answers he desires are contained there.

As far as custom decals go, I always just used a local guy (happened to work in a car audio shop) that did custom vinyl cutting. I use negative decals to do alot of custom painting, and would look thru his various art books in order to get ideas. Depending on where a "lonely Non-African-American, Caucasian Elder" such as yourself is located, you may be able to find someone like this at a local sign shop, or possibly ask around the local import car scene to see where they get their vinyl done (as it does add horsepower, and chics love half-ass sticky graphics, as long as they are shiny!).

I do also like the suggestion to not breed, I honestly believe we have enough people on earth right now, so lets direct our efforts to more important things, like trying to capture waldo (where is that bastard?) and curing constipation (affects millions around the world, and just think of the poor overstressed toilets).

Glad you guys enjoyed that. All psychoanalysis is done on a purely "gratis" basis here. As long as I help just one person... it will all be worth it!

I wonder if this Mentat guy is the same person who goes by the username dreaux on RCTech, that guy makes a bunch of threads all the time and makes insults just like Mentat's when people tell him to stop making so many threads. Anyway, all of your threads don't really bug me to be honest, I just ignore them for the most part.

Anyway, there is a place called www.radiocontroldecals.com that will do custom decals. Their site has changed a bit now and its more for like signs and such and you have to order from their ebay store but they do still make decals just for RC's. Fast shipping and great customer service. And like Bondonutz said, UpgradeRC or rcID makes custom decals and skins too.

 Lol @ linc as he emerges from the fumes of his paint booth as a shrink with helpful mental advice and info for rc stickers!

Mentat 07.11.2009 05:56 PM

exactly what i wanted. Now if i could just find a site that has a little web application that allows u to do you own designs. I know they have them for T-Shirts

Mentat 07.11.2009 06:07 PM

To bad they want $50 bucks for some skins.

While the Upgrade skins are expensive they are very nice and stick well, you pay for quality. Plus custom stuff is usually more expensive and I believe you can have them change those skins a bit to what you want.

Mentat 07.11.2009 09:25 PM

yeah, so they go under the body or on the outside?
